At The Center for Bariatric Surgical Specialties at Syosset Hospital, our physicians specialize in laparoscopic surgery, including bariatric/weight loss surgery and techniques such as the LAP-BANDŽ System. Our state-of-the-art facility on Long Island, New York offers the latest technology in a safe and comfortable setting.
Our team is comprised of two surgeons, Dr. Alan C. Geiss and Dr. Colin J. Powers, two Physician Assistants, two registered dieticians, a psychologist, and multiple other health professionals who assist in the care of our practice. Every member of the team takes pride in our program and the success of our patients.
We perform a wide range of laparoscopic and weight loss surgery procedures at our Long Island, New York office. While we specialize in the LAP-BANDŽ System , we also perform most other surgeries that can be executed with a laparoscope, such as Revision of Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass - ROSE, gastric bypass, gallbladder surgery, and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy - LSG.
