Samantha Kennedy is the founder and designer behind Shield & Honor. She began designing and hand-making her own jewelry as a hobby at a young age. Through the years she has developed both a skill for creating beautiful jewelry, as well as a passion for designing unique and meaningful pieces that are appealing to a wide range of clients.
Samantha's bullet necklaces were first created for herself and her family, as a source of comfort and love for her late grandfather. As she wore them, she realized how many people admired the necklaces and how many would cherish an elegant pendant for someone they too wanted to honor and remember. It was not only the unique piece of jewelry that caught attention, but also the loving story that others were intrigued by. Given its mass appeal, Samantha decided to leave behind her stable corporate job and take the blind leap into the world of fashion.
Years later, Samantha is overjoyed to have the opportunity to pursue her true passion and to be able to share it with others. Shield & Honor also donates a portion of all proceeds to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund to continue to support the same community that inspired their creation.
